We3, a graphic narrative by Grant Morrison about three "animal weapons" that escape their laboratory and try to find a way to "home."

The book presents an interesting angle to the issue of crossing boundaries from the "real" to the "unreal" and vice versa: The animals, before they were kidnapped to the laboratory, were normal pets, animals as we know it. Afterwards, however, they became armed weapons, equipped with deadly capabilities, the ability to speak to humans, and several technological attahments. In this case, did the animals go from real, authentic beings to robots? Are they no longer "real?" Did they cross the boundary?
